Στην άκρη της χαράδρας με θέα προς τον Μεσσηνιακό κόλπο και απομονωμένο από τον έξω κόσμο.Η διαδρομή και η πρόσβαση είναι σχετικά εύκολη με SUV, ενώ σε όλη την διαδρομή υπάρχουν πινακίδες που σε καθοδηγούν. Προτείνω σε όλους σας, να επισκεφτείτε το σημείο. Πραγματικά θα σας αποζημιώσει η επαφή με την φύση και η ηρεμία του μέρους.
 The location of the monastery is not accidental. At the edge of the gorge overlooking the Messinian bay and isolated from the outside world. The route and access is relatively easy with an SUV, while all the way there are signs that guide you. I suggest to all of you, to visit the point. It really will compensate your contact with the nature and tranquility of the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This isolated, derelict and deserted monastery has nothing inside and no access anyway, but it is set in the most beautiful location in a gorgeous densely wooded valley. In one direction the view is toward the Gulf of Messinia, and in the other you can see all the way to the peaks of Mt Taygetos without any sign of human habitation. The reality is slightly different, as the outlying dwellings of Ano Doli are not very far away, but come here on a spring day and you'll probably have the valley to yourself.
