★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Ιερά Μονή Αντινίτσης "Το Γενέσιον της Θεοτόκου" είναι ιστορική και παλιά μονή της Φθιώτιδας. Είναι ανδρική.
Στη μονή Αντίνιτσας ανήκουν δύο προσκυνητάρια που βρίσκονται επάνω στον επαρχιακό δρόμο Λαμίας-Δομοκού. Συγκεκριμένα είναι της Αγίας Αικατερίνης και του Αγίου Σώζοντος.
Το 1927, ο Ιωάννης Μακρόπουλος, τότε δήμαρχος Λαμίας, ο αδελφός του Δημήτριος Μακρόπουλος και ο Ιωάννης Κρανάκης αποφάσισαν την ίδρυση του Αντιφυματικού Αναρρωτηρίου (Σανατορίου) Αντίνιτσας. Την κατάλληλη θέση (τον τόπο) γι’ αυτό επέλεξε ο γιατρός Βασίλειος Τσώνης και ήταν δίπλα (ανατολικά) της μονής Αντίνιτσας.
Το 1935 ολοκληρώθηκε η κατασκευή του χωμάτινου δρόμου. Έτσι, αποπερατώθηκε και λειτούργησε το Ορεινό Αντιφυματικό Αναρρωτήριο αλλά ταυτόχρονα συνδέθηκε οδικά και η Μονή για πρώτη φορά.

In 1927, Ioannis Makropoulos, then mayor of Lamia, his brother Dimitrios Makropoulos and Ioannis Kranakis decided to establish the Anti-Tuberculosis Hospital (Sanatorium) of Antinitsa. The appropriate place (the place) for this was chosen by the doctor Vassilios Tsonis and it was next (east) of the monastery of Antinitsa.
In 1935 the construction of the dirt road was completed. Thus, the Mountain Anti-Tuberculosis Hospital was completed and operated, but at the same time the Monastery was connected by road for the first time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Απο το 2017 και μετα, εχει γινει μια πολυ μεγαλη προσπαθεια και το μοναστηρι ξαναστεκεται και παλι. Ειναι παρα πολυ ωραιο, με πολλα φυτα και ανακαινισμενο. Αξιζει σιγουρα μια επισκεψη.
From 2017 onwards, a great effort has been made and the monastery stands again. It is very nice, with many plants and renovated. Definitely worth a visit.

Έχει πολύ καλά προϊόντα όταν έχει. Αυγά χυλοπίτες .Τα Χριστούγεννα είχε και λουκάνικα. Είναι λίγο μακριά όμως και δεν έχει συγκοινωνία.

It has very good products when it has. Egg noodles. At Christmas he also had sausages. It is a little far though and has no transportation.
