★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Επιβλητικό μοναστηριακό συγκρότημα, περίπου 10' βορειότερα της Κύμης Ευβοίας. Πρόκειται για πανέμορφη γυναικεία μονή, χτισμένη σε απόκρημνο τοπίο με θέα το Αιγαίο. Αμέσως σου δημιουργεί την αίσθηση του ησυχαστηρίου για ανάταση προσευχής. Είναι πολύ περιποιημένη και απαστράπτουσα. Κάποιος πολύ ηλικιωμένος πνευματικός επισκέπτεται τη μονή και εξομολογεί κατόπιν συνεννοήσεως. Οι πιστοί που τον έχουν γνωρίσει, σπάνια τον αποχωρίζονται.
 Impressive monastery complex, about 10 'north of Kymi Evia. This is a beautiful nunnery, built in a steep landscape overlooking the Aegean. Believers who have known him rarely leave him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Νιώθω ευλογημένη που αξιώθηκα να γνωρίσω την Ιερά Μονή Μεταμορφώσεως Σωτήρος στην Κύμη. Μια ιστορική Μονή, χτισμένη σε ύψωμα, με μοναδική θέα προς το Αιγαίο Πέλαγος. Όλες οι μοναχές εκεί,επίγειοι άγγελοι.
Ο Θεός να χαρίζει έτη πολλά στον εξαιρετικό πνευματικό πατέρα Νικόδημο, την χαρισματική Ηγουμένη Συγκλητική και όλες τις αδελφές της Μονής που προσεύχονται καθημερινά για όλους μας. Αξίζει να την επισκεφτείτε!
I feel blessed to have sought to meet the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Kymi. A historic monastery built on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea. All the nuns there, angels on earth.
May God bestow many years on the excellent spiritual father Nicodemus, the charismatic Abbot of the Synod and all the sisters of the Monastery who pray daily for us all. Worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η γυναικεία σήμερα Μονή Σωτήρος βρίσκεται 4 χιλιόμετρα βόρεια της Κύμης, σε ένα απόκρημνο και ερημικό περιβάλλον, 250 μέτρα πάνω από τη θάλασσα.Μέσα στο ναό φυλάσσονται λειψανοθήκες με λείψανα Αγίων και Μαρτύρων, όπως του Αγίου Τρύφωνα, του Αγίου Νικολάου, του Αγίου Χαραλάμπους, της Αγίας Παρασκευής.
Στις 6 Αυγούστου το μοναστήρι γιορτάζει πανηγυρικά προς τιμήν της Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρος Χριστού. Επίσης γιορτάζει στις 20 Δεκεμβρίου στη μνήμη του Αγίου Ιγνατίου, προς τιμήν του οποίου έχει κτιστεί παρεκκλήσι στη βορειοανατολική γωνία της μονής.

On August 6, the monastery celebrates in honor of the Transfiguration of the Savior Christ. It also celebrates on December 20 in memory of St. Ignatius, in whose honor a chapel has been built in the northeast corner of the monastery.
