★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Υπέροχο μοναστήρι, σε προκαλεί δέος η παλιά εκκλησία. Η Αγία Σοφία ζεσταίνει όλο το χώρο με την Αγιότητα Της. Καταπληκτική εμπειρία αξίζει να το επισκεφτείς.
 Wonderful monastery, the old church awes you. Hagia Sophia warms the whole space with Her Holiness. Amazing experience worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αγαλλίαση ψυχής και δέος αντικρίζεις κατά την είσοδο σου στη Μονή της γέννησης της Θεοτόκου ένα παλιό μοναστήρι του 13ου λίγο πιο κάτω από τον οικισμό της Κλεισούρας ιστορικό μοναστήρι κατά τον μακεδονικό αγώνα έχει αντέξει σε πολλούς σεισμούς και πολέμους αλλά το σημαντικότερο από όλα είναι ότι ασκήτεψε σε αυτό η οσία Σοφία...!!! Λίγο πιο έξω από τη Μονή βρίσκεται και ο τάφος της δίπλα στον ιερό ναό του Αγίου Ιωάννου Πρόδρομου ...!!!!!! Νερά τρέχουν γύρω από τον ναό...!!! Ο ναός βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του συγκροτήματος κατεβαίνοντας 3-4 σκαλοπάτια βρίσκεσαι στο εσωτερικό του όπου αντικρίζεις της ξεθωριασμένες από το χρόνο αγιογραφίες και το λαξευτό περίτεχνο τέμπλο...!!!! Είναι γεγονός ότι κάθε φορά που φεύγει κάποιος επισκέπτης από το ναό σου αφήνει μία αίσθηση ευλογίας και Ιερεμίας...!!! Αξίζει τον κόπο να το επισκεφτείς να βρεθεί στην περιοχή...!!!!!!
