★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monolithos est une plage familiale fréquentée par les locaux et quelques touristes. Il y a un minimarket et 2 restaurants; l'un genre Taverna et l'autre spécialité poissons.
Il y a surtout le levé du soleil pour ceux qui se lèvent de bon heure; spectacle merveilleux. Voir le soleil sortir de la mer c'est super et ... on se bouscule pas pour admirer la féerie de dame nature.
C'est l'anti Oia. Nous avions louer un appartement face au petit port de Monolithos. Voilà, ça vaut le détour pour les puristes.
 Monolithos is a family beach frequented by locals and a few tourists. There is a minimarket and 2 restaurants; one type Taverna and the other specialty fish.
There is especially the sunrise for those who get up early; wonderful spectacle. Seeing the sun coming out of the sea is great and ... we don't rush to admire the magic of Mother Nature.
It's the anti Oia. We had rented an apartment facing the small port of Monolithos. There you have it, it's worth the detour for purists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty, run down, a rotting tanker in the little marina, rubbish strewn around, tide of plastic bottle lapping the shore, overflowing trash cans, fishing debris rotting fish and crates, Not good. No love or care going on here. Really depressing! Off shore is parked a tanker permanently so as you take a swim on the beach to the left that's your view. As I said depressing the lack of care for the environment.

There are some restaurant nearby and also parking is free.
The con is that there is a factory nearby which releases a bad scent.
