β β β β β Lovely shop with t-shirts, mugs and other things related, of various bands and pop-cult phenomenae. From rock and metal to Marvel and HarryPotter. Well worth a look and a good place to buy gifts!

β β β β β This is the best hotel for the last few years I visited.
Pros:
1. The administrators Antonio and Andreas are so kind and very helpful. Antonio explained where to find the great restaurant.
2. The decorations are excellent. The room has intimate light and modern furniture. Our room was styled in dark colors. My wife is happy of the bathroom.
3. The hotel is in good location: it is not too far from the center and is not on the tourists route meaning you can find not expensive tavernas and shops.
4. There is a breakfast that is good. You can choose from the variety of products.
Cons:
1. It was a bit difficult to find it first time. The entrance is from the narrow street and we didn't see the recognizable labels.

The Areos is one of the best hotels for your 1- to 2-week trip to Athens. You can expect an extremely friendly and helpful staff, modern equipment and clean rooms and the best WiFi- and LAN-connectivity I had in a hotel so far. The staff is eager to help you where it can, for example planing your daily trips in Athens and the surrounding area. And: The nearest metro station is only 5 minutes away (to walk). From there, you reach after two stations to the center of Athens around the acropolis.

β β β β β You get really great value for what you pay here, even much more! The staff was super helpful giving us priceless tips and hints for things to do and places to eat. My trip to Athens wouldn't have been as good as it was without their recommendations .
The hotel location itself is a walking distance from "Victoria" metro station which gives you easy access to pretty much everywhere in Athens .
