We spent 4 days in Athens and went to this place 3 times with our girls for croissants, desserts and ice cream. We were thrilled with the terrific prices, English, and service. Highly recommend!

I love this is place. They have really good bread and cookies. Ladies working there are amazing. Every time I went there they helped me a lot. It’s a genuine place with so many traditional Greek pastries. I appreciate their service. Amazing customer care. We felt so much like a neighbour and we even went last morning to say goodbye to them.

Found this bakery gem while strolling in the side neighborhoods early one morning while looking for a sweet breakfast. This shop has an incredible assortment of breads, cookies, pies, pastries, and desserts. The staff was very pleasant and offered suggestions for traditional Greek breakfast pastries based on my personal tastes. Prices were very reasonable and the taste was fresh. Many regular locals strolled in, smiled, and received their usual items.

In a country that probably prepares better, fresher and tastier food than any other on the planet, great bakeries aren't only essential, they're the norm; especially if bread is the staple of that country's diet. This family-owned chain of bakeries opens earlier than any I've seen here with more types of breads, muffins or donuts than the eye can count. • PRICING Their pricing is low to medium on most of their (food) products excepting those requiring additional time to produce/bake including certain high-end pastries and seasonal treats containing rare ingredients. Well worth the prices in all instances and on all items. • FOOD QUALITY The quality of their product is consistently excellent. Mountrichas Bakery's amazingly fresh fruit-filled pastries and pies are to die for, quite literally if you're overly health conscious. But one might ask (and admittedly quite irresponsibly), why bother worrying at all? If you're fat, then proven and factual odds are, that you will remain that way and will probably grow even fatter. Thus, most epicureans worth their mettle would attest that Mountrichas Bakery's delicious fare makes becoming obese well worth the enjoyment of those final few years prior to your final heart attack. While bakeries generally are not the ideal place for the fat to frequent or if you are overweight, this bakery uses chemical free and 100% natural ingredients in their bakery products (a case quite the opposite in the United States and elsewhere as many patients and Monsanto victims Worldwide WILL attest). Contrarily, if you're an actor auditioning for that choice role as an extra in yet another (yawn) Hollywood saga about the unique plight of certain concentration camp victims, then Mountrichas is NOT a bakery you wish to frequent. It IS however where to go if you're an underweight wraith who needs to quickly put on a few healthy lbs. & kilos. so as not to resemble one of the above mentioned film characters. Yes, it's THAT delicious! • STAFF DEMEANOR The staff are also amazing (and polite!). Their knowledge of their bakery's products boggles the mind considering there are so many different products available daily and made fresh on any given day. They're consistently friendly and mindful of their customer's regular ordering habits. And they are polite and respectful in the traditional sense traits that are quickly becoming obsolete in the Western world today. •SUMMARY Get it while it's hot Folks! Suggest you find and eat the delicacies offered by this wonderful family run bakery chain now while you still can folks. Sadly and soon, when the Internationalist multi-Billionaire sodomites and their Neo-feudalist NWO have succeeded in feeding you and your families their "New Normal" agenda, we in the West will be lucky to be eating dirt on the side of the road while THEY continue enjoy their rocket vacations in outer space. Again; eat, drink and be merry now, for in the very near future visitors to Athens probably won't have old normal luxuries like Mountrichas Bakeries to enjoy (unless you people wake the %#$! up).

Lovely bakery with a looot of options. Everything we tried was really good, but the lemon muffin was especially delicious.

The pastries are so good. We stayed at the Hilton and it was worth the 7 minute walk. Everything that we bought (which was a lot) was reasonably priced. Chris helped us and it was a great experience. He took the time to tell us about each dessert we asked him about.
