D	Dimitra Th. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφο μουσείο καθαρό με αρκετά εκθέματα ζώων. Δεν είναι πολύ μεγάλο άλλα είναι αρκετά πράγματα να δει κανείς. Beautiful museum clean with lots of animal exhibits. It's not too big but there are a lot of things to look at.

Ιδρύθηκε το 1964 από τον Άγγελο και τη Νίκη Γουλανδρή και ήταν το πρώτο μουσείο φυσικής ιστορίας που ιδρύθηκε στην Ελλάδα. Στεγάζεται σε νεοκλασικό σπίτι του 1875 το οποίο τροποποιήθηκε ώστε να στεγάσει το μουσείο, ενώ το 2001 εγκαινιάστηκε το κέντρο «Γαία», επέκταση του αρχικού κτιρίου. Σκοπός της δημιουργίας του ήταν η προώθηση των φυσικών επιστημών και της ευαισθητοποίησης του ανθρώπου για την άγρια ζωή. Ανάμεσα στα εκθέματα του μουσείο βρίσκονται βοτανικά εκθέματα, έντομα, θηλαστικά και πτηνά κατανεμημένα σε διαφόρους βιοτόπους, ερπετά και αμφίβια μαλάκια, δείγματα ορυκτών, πετρωμάτων και απολιθωμάτων, από Ελλάδα αλλά και παγκόσμιας. Στο κέντρο «Γαία» λειτουργούν επιστημονικά εργαστήρια, ενώ βρίσκεται αμφιθέατρο και συνεδριακές εγκαταστάσεις, καθώς και η Γεώσφαιρα και διαδραστικά εκθέματα σχετικά με τα περιβαλλοντικά προβλήματα του πλανήτη, όπως η ενέργεια, οι μεταφορές, η διαχείριση των φυσικών πόρων και οι τροφές. It was founded in 1964 by Angelos and Niki Goulandris and was the first natural history museum founded in Greece. It is housed in a neoclassical house from 1875 which was modified to house the museum, while in 2001 the "Gaia" center was inaugurated, an extension of the original building. The purpose of its creation was to promote the natural sciences and to raise awareness of wildlife. Very nice museum! Clean! Well done to the Municipality of Maroussi. Everything you need for young children, even for a short lesson on the spot with a tutor.

p	psa hellas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφος, λιτός και καθαρός χώρος που απευθύνεται κυρίως σε παιδιά δημοτικού, δεν θα το συγκρίνω με το μουσείο Γουλανδρή, είναι κάτι διαφορετικό, τα δύο επίπεδα έχουν όσα χρειάζεται να δει ένα παιδί και να μην κουραστεί. Το επισκεφθήκαμε οικογενειακός με την κόρη μας την παγκόσμια ημέρα μουσείων. Τα τρία άτομα προσωπικό που μας υποδέχθηκαν ήταν πολύ φιλικά και πρόθυμα. Συγχαρητήρια! Στα + δίπλα υπάρχει παιδική χαρά! Beautiful, simple and clean space that is addressed mainly to primary school children, I will not compare it with the Goulandris museum, it is something different, the two levels have everything a child needs to see and not get tired. My daughter and I visited it on World Museum Day. The three staff members who welcomed us were very friendly and willing. Congratulations! At + next to it there is a playground!
