Municipality of Metamorfossi - Ι. Ράλλη και Δημαρχείου

..I know this place since I was a child and really was a beautiful place..small country side houses many olive and pine trees..it was a small village of Attica..my grand father side of my mother from Andros island had relative in Kukuvaunes now called Metamorfosis means that it changed transformed in another image of that 50 or 60 years ago...now if that transformation from a beautiful village of Attica to cement place with few remains of its beauty in nature and little houses with beautiful trees it's not my intention to judge the transformation of Athens and surrounding villages to cement and profit cities not for people to relax and enjoy the ex beautifull Attica..let's leave that to all involved in this transformation the last 60 years..nowdays Metamorfosis has all the amenities of nice cosy little coffee shops nice shopping and reasonable prices shops tavernas and above all people that are human friendly ..working people that gained their life hard working mostly with honorable way which to me says a lot...honestly today visiting Metamorfosis ex Kukuvaunes village my heart felt free although seriously wounded from the Cement Civilization..it's indeed challenging visit Metamorfosis walk around have a coffee or a cold beer you will feel other kind sentiments from the nouveau riches quarters and glamorous centers that after all they don't gain you in the most important part of yourself :your Heart..dimitris.v.rallis,TCD(Dublin)
