★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Turm von Prosphorion - so hieß Ouranoupoli einst - ist einer der besterhaltenen Türme auf Chalkidiki und gleichzeitig das Wahrzeichen des Ortes und natürlich ein sehr beliebtes Fotomotiv. Erbaut wurde der Turm im Jahr 1344 durch das Athos-Kloster Vatopedi.
The tower of Prosphorion - as Ouranoupoli was once called - is one of the best preserved towers in Halkidiki and at the same time the landmark of the place and of course a very popular photo opportunity. The tower was built in 1344 by the Athos monastery at Vatopedi.
