Our stay at Akasha can only be described as a great experience. Tucked away in a picturesque cove we were wrapped in privacy and surrounded by wonderful nature. The three-storey house (one suite on each floor) is standing on a cove over the sea, offering dramatic views of the glittering Ionian Sea, the lush greenery of Ithaca and stunning sunsets.
The suite was modern, always clean and with essentials and facilities to make us feel comfortable. It was obvious that Vassilis, the owner and host, have payed attention to even little extras.
Most importantly, Vassilis went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed, whether organising an excursion or booking a boat trip and the lovely Spyros Couvaras to take us sightseeing.

Six days at the Akasha were enough to make us want to stay in Ithaca forever. A short drive from the town Vathy, Akasha is perched on a lush green small cape above the sea with amazing panoramic unobstructed views. We stayed at the Akasha Suite III and basked in the pure bliss of being surrounded by the sea and green trees. The property has its own dock and some days we chose to bask in the sun and swim there; our own private beach...
Soon after we arrived we realized that Vassilis, our great host with the honest and irresistibly contagious smile, is the person we could rely on to arrange for us to have the time of our life in Ithaca. Through his agency Myithaca.gr he arranged boat tours at amazing beaches with crystalline waters in a dazzling palette of colors, a tour of the island - the hilltop villages Exogi and Anogi and the scenic seaport of Kioni are an absolute must - and a visit to archaeological sites.
