Rather small menu which ensures very fresh ingredients. Can recommend Stella‘s Taverna 100%!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I might be biased, but if you walk through the beautiful sence from Rethymno and end up there, you will also be biased. It is so great! The view, the renovation, the food, the price, the people... Cannot be better. We were on the way to mili gorge, so took a small stop in this place. We heartfully think it is the best restaurant we had been during our 1 week stay in Rethymno!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent homemade food in a lovely, panoramic location just outside Rethymno on the hills. Fantastic service. You can reach the tavern easily with the hop on/off panoramic bus that stops just in front of the tavern.
The food itself is just amazing, I've been here many times over the years and it's always top notch. Make sure you ask Stella for the daily specials ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's absolute worth it. You get small chicken souvlaki for only 2€ (june 2022),have a good view on Roussospiti and it tastes very good. So if you want to eat good food for good price, you are at the right place.
Only downside: the choice of dishes is very limited, there is for example no baked cheese with honey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic little gem hidden away at the foot of a mountain found this restaurant on the hop on hop off bus tourist trail, the food was absolutely stunning and the hostess Stella was very welcoming and friendly the prices are very reasonable and delicious ? the views are stunning here too don't miss this place it's well worth the visit 5 stars all round ????
