★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're in Olympia and want a hearty, delicious meal, you should come here! We ate at Mythos cafe after a long day driving, getting lost in the mountains and finally seeing the Archaeological Site in a rush. We wanted a bit to eat before driving back to Athens and this place really hit the spot.
We had the pork roll, lamb kebabs, beet salad, and the vegetarian dish of the day, spinach and rice. Everything was clearly fresh, handmade and made with love with a flavor that was unique from anything else we'd had in our entire trip. As in, clearly made expertly by a Greek grandmother's hand. The owners even gave us tzatziki on the house, and then home-baked melomakarona to finish out the meal.
The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming and deserve every bit of business they get. You should eat here!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an experienced traveller, I have been offered a large amount of food for a low price. As such, I have learned to take these offers with a grain of salt. However, the greek lamb with pita bread, yogurt and fries for 14 euros was a great deal. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. All their recommendations were sincere and truthful. The service was also great. I hope you have plenty of visitors when the next Olympic Games begin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice tavern. Eleni was very friendly and professional (please forgive me if I misspelled your name!) Prices are very reasonable and the tavern is close to Olympia archaeological site and museum (5-7 mins walking). I came here twice, enjoyed some chicken in pita first and then very good fried dorado fish. I recommend this place!
