★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is it legal for drivers to pick up people on the street and demand from them 10 euro for 1 km ride? Today around 16:00 me and my friend was waiting for the bus at the bus station near the hotels Naoussa and Almira Suites. The driver of the minivan agreed to pick us up. He passed our hotel Cosmarie Bungalows and then demanded 10 euro for this short ride to the place, that we didn't ask him. As for me it should be a company ethic policy and if the driver makes money by collecting people on the street, at least it should be for the reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an unsafe experience with the driver acting contrary to Covid rules.
We used this transfer service to get from our hotel to the port. After picking us and another passenger, the driver escorted on three young people without masks. He didn’t ask them to put on masks despite seeing them in both person as they walked onto the car and one of them being directly in his sight through the rearview mirror (if he didn’t notice her, then that means he didn’t use his rear view mirror which is unsafe). Greece requires masks in public spaces, including shared taxis and transport vehicles. This was wildly unprofessional and when we confronted him about it, he refused to acknowledge it. Of course, we still paid. Do not use this service if you care about Covid safety.
