★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both the tavern and the beach lot are better, IMHO, than a lot of "premium" beaches on other parts of the island. For a lower price you have a qualitative service, and the small dimension of the beach gives a more personal feeling, in the scenario of the small harbour and city of Skala Sotiros.
The beach leaves you to bring your own food and water, but is still valid the hint of consuming at least €20.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waited for our drinks for like 20 minutes, the food came after one hour of waiting, we also waited to pay our bill for another 20 minutes. The staff didn’t talk with us at all. The prices were good, but it’s not worth the waiting in the hot weather…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waited 20 minutes for drinks, another 20 for food, some 15 minutes for ketchup and in the end we even had to wait to pay. Food was okay, but the wait wasn't worth it. The waiter kept bringing receipt bills without saying anything, we literally couldn't get a bottle of water for 20 minutes or something. Prices are very high for what it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The terrace is located on the beach and has a pleasant atmosphere. The food, however is bland and depending on what you order, the portion can be small. Glass wine is good. The prices are quite high, especially considering the taste of the food, and you might wait a while for somebody to come and take your order, as they tend to prioritize waiting to larger groups of people, and not attend to people in the order in which they came to the terrace. A nice touch is that they offer complementary ice cream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, reasonable prices, you will eat in the shadow of the trees that surround the terrace and view the sea. Staff is nice and helpful. Two things that made me come back, besides food: very clean toilet, no wasps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious, we ate here 2 times since we arrived.
They have a menu translated in english, german and romanian.
They know romanian, they knew how to translate some dishes in romanian, very friendly waitresses and costumer oriented.
We just got fat in these days!
