Naxos Kitesurf Club - Glyfada beach

Very good spot, teachers, vibe - thanks for having me, I had a great time!

At Naxos Kitesurf Club i have found excelent people with the knowledge and ability to show and teach you how to ride! Teorical knowleg and pratical lesson with brand new equipment can help beginers and advanced kitsurfers to gain the ability to step up their game. Most of the people goes to the same places but (I should not tell this secret...sorry locals...) if you want a pristine location, great wind and turquise waters then Kastraki is your place.

I'm torn writing this review because part of me wants to thank these awesome gentlemen for a fantastic few days and another part of me wants no one else to ever find out about it! NKC is exactly the relaxed, understated kitesurfing centre I was looking for and I'm very glad I persisted one my moped until I found it. Operating out of their chilled Surf Shack the team of Gabriele and Michalis work perfectly. Gabi was a super instructor, somehow managing to pull off being both enthusiastic and cool - two important traits for someone you're going to spend hours listening to over a walkie talkie without being able to respond to whilst you're floundering about in the water. Very encouraging and brilliant at helping you keep focusing on the 28 different things you've got to remember when learning... and super chilled - everything is done at your pace. Mich runs the place professionally with the customer as the key concern. There's no wind? Hang out - it can change in 15minutes at Glyfada. He also doesn't push you out if the wind isn't right, and if it's low season and you're committed to learning for a few sessions he's reasonable about putting together a package deal for you (not something I found on Mikri Vigla). I could then go on about how absolutely perfect Glyfada is as a location but I'll leave it at this - I've kitesurfed around and world and checked out the rest of the Naxos locations on the way to Glyfada. This is the place, I can't wait to come back.

Michaelis and the instructors are a friendly, professional and well capable training team. They offer a safe (culture and fysical) environment to improve kiting skills. I would highly recommend this skilled and easy to go team! Enjoy:)

Excellent Kite Surf School (IKO registered). Very good atmosphere as professional as kind. The location in Glyfada (Naxos) is perfect to learn as not crowded a lot and the constant wind coming from the North keeps you safe. The equipment is up to date and in a very good quality. The instructors are patient, teach you step by step and always give you the best advice for you to get on your board and have fun. I finally found the Kite Surf that I needed which is not a simple cash machine for tourists as many others can be. I strongly recommend this Kite School for beginners and confirmed kiters who would like to improve their skills. Thank you guys, you rock :)

Excellent site for beginners and advanced kite lovers. Great wind most of the days, safe beach, experienced instructors! The kite club was a must every afternoon with the chill out environment, a beer and good laughs!!!
