worst experience in Naxos! The busses not only come and go at random timetables but the covid protection measures are non existing. The windows of the busses do not open, the drivers do not check whether the passengers are wearing masks or not (most of them actually did not!!!) and to make things worst, drivers keep on accepting more and more passengers even though the busses get full. As a result, there are standing people, packed as hell in completely inappropriate conditions. Very dangerous considering the delta variant that currently thrives on the island.

This is the place to buy bus tickets to go to other parts of the island. We stayed in the town Agios Prokopios and took bus number 2 that leaves every half hour 1pm 1:30 etc. tickets are 1.6eur and the drive to this town is around 20 min

Dont even think about it ,buy a map and rent a car. Firstly, its so expensive in comparison with what it offers. Secondly , there is no planning you dont know which bus goes where. I had to ask again and again, waiting in the sun about 30 minutes. Every bus that was coming was turning us down ,and nothing that the where saying made sence in their broken English. There is a schedule in a paper that is only right about villages. The ones that go to the beach are not enough. People are struggling to get in. The bus stops are really disappointing. Now with covid they didn't care if locals wear a mask or not ,because they knew each other (with very few exceptions). Over all you already pay too much Money on coming to Greece and its not worth it ruining your vacation for unprofessional people. Asking them to improve they said that this is a business. They only care about the profit without the quality that is required for the Money that im investing on my visit to Greece.

Decent service although most of it is done in the old style. The staff is quite helpful and they also have enough flyers of the routes & timetable on hand. The drawback is that they do not have any real time monitoring system of the bus location and neither do they allow prebooking of tickets (we've seen people being disallowed from boarding as the bus seats were full). The bus numbers and the destinations could also be better highlighted so there are definitely some points for improvement. Overall, still quite satisfied with the bus service.

For island, the service is more than enough. The buses take you to all touristic places with pretty much normal prices. We were amazed by the kindness of some drivers who picked up tourists even without ticket. As a drawback, we were expecting routes to the whole island, or more frequent routes to villages like chalki etc. Very important: you cannot buy tickets within the bus. There are many places that sell them (Central building near the port, supermarkets, bakeries etc).

Arrived by a private boat, Thanks to Gabriella, she made our trip as fantastic as possible. Great help to rent a car, for guiding us, all this with a smile, intelligence and laughs.

Well it gets you from A to B by coach and they are comfortable and air conditioned. Be mindful that they do cram you on at busy times. I recommend getting on at this stop if you can as is the main start/finish of the routes. This way you can be more guaranteed a seat. They do stop other placed in between but can be busy. You can only buy tickets in shops and the main building. The tickets are reasonable enough at 2 euro a journey. They basically rip the ticket up when you get on. The bus generally run to timetable but the bus numbers are non existent really, they have them but often the numbers on the front have no baring as to where is it actually going. They are also not the best at announcing the main stops so you are unsure where to get off. Surely they could improve with clear numbering of buses and clear announcements of stops. Not difficult.

Great service and buses take you pretty much anywhere on the island for a single 2 euro ticket. We went to different beaches daily from this main bus terminal. Just walk in the office on the day of (no need to buy early) and ask the friendly staff for which bus to take. Also buy your return tickets now so you don't have to worry about the ride back. Tickets work on any bus any day. Very efficient operation except there's always a delay when ferries are loading or unloading. Buses don't run late so ask the driver and don't miss the last bus.
