One of the few villages that still holds the traditional wild landscape of Mani. It is worth visiting.

Panaghia Spiliotisa Monastery Mani a wonderful place in a very hard to reach area you have to drive 4/4 the road is not paved but the image takes your breath away when you get up there.

Une qualité d'accueil à la méditerranéenne, chaleureuse et souriante. Région austère et sauvage, rude. Attention en moto, réseau routier à aventures et les grecs ont un style de conduite, comment dire, vintage ! Repas poisson obligatoire.
I went there out of season. Change of scenery guaranteed!
A warm and smiling Mediterranean welcome. Austere and wild, harsh region. Be careful on motorbikes, the road network with adventures and the Greeks have a driving style, how to say, vintage! Mandatory fish meal.

Beautiful place with excellent beach and many shops for coffee and food. It is worth it if you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pretty, quiet little hamlet with some lovely walks (to Oitylo and Areopolis), and very good seafood restaurants for when you've done enough walking. I can't comment on the accommodation as we were staying in Areopolis, but there are plenty of reviews. The views are wonderful and the beach is reasonably sandy. It is quite isolated so a hire car would be useful. The main road takes you to Kardamyli and Kalamata northwards and Areopolis and Gerolimenas going south so there's plenty to see if you decide to explore beyond the confines of this large bay.
