★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kolem přístavu je soustředěno centrum Neos Marmaras; přístav je “srdcem” města. V přístavním bazénu, který chrání zbytky plovoucích vlnolamů, najdete jak rybářské lodě různých velikostí, tak i jachty a motorové čluny. Z prostředního mola odplouvají v sezoně linkové lodě do různých destinací a také vodní bus do resortu Porto Carras. V bezprostředním okolí je mnoho restaurací, kaváren, cukráren a také řada penzionů nabízejících ubytování v centru dění. Není to však jen letovisko pro turisty, je zde intenzivní rybářský provoz, taverny pro zdejší obyvatele a pravidelné trhy. Je to velmi sympatické místo s vynikající atmosférou, kam se rád vracím.
 Neos Marmaras center is located around the port; the harbor is the "heart" of the city. Fishing boats of various sizes as well as yachts and speedboats can be found in the harbor pool, which protects the remains of floating breakwaters. In the middle of the season, regular boats to various destinations and a water bus to Porto Carras leave. There are many restaurants, cafés, pastry shops and many guest houses in the immediate vicinity. However, it is not just a tourist resort, there is an intense fishing operation, taverns for local residents and regular markets. It is a very nice place with an excellent atmosphere where I like to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Busy harbour ,no places to dock ,minimum amount of places most are taken by local boats.No shelter if windy due to the breakwater construction collapsed.Filthy surroundings.Very noisy with the restaurant and bars and parking around the harbour.A no go!!
