Стенка для чартера. С большой осадкой я бы не подходил.
Wall for charter. With a big draft, I would not be suitable.

Brilliant team, every issue was sorted within ten minutes, calm and very experienced leaders. Excellent experience, a holiday to remember!

This was our first venture into chartering outside UK. We could not have been looked after better. The yacht was immaculate and well fitted out the friendly Nisos team looked after every detail from airport to airport. Unlike other companies we looked at there were no "extras" to pay above the basic charter price. We had a great holiday.

My wife and I have just returned from a three week trip on Summer Breeze a 35' Bavaria cruiser which was our first solo charter trip after I got my day skipper qualification last autumn. We did one week with ABC support from the brilliant Kitty and Aaron and two weeks free roaming on our own. Rowan the UK based co-ordinator co-owner from Nisos was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient from the start in guiding me through the options, selecting a boat that we could use on my first outing that was going to be easy with a crew with limited experience. Before we went lots of friends had said how challenging it was going to be with just the two of us but the combination of a very useable and reliable boat, excellent stern-to mooring guidance from Brian, and the ABC setting us up well meant that we had a very smooth trip. We also found the support from Nisos backup great when we needed it (pretty minimal as the boat was well maintained) - the one time was with a prop fouled on a lazy line where the diver was with us within 30 minutes and fixed within the hour. While we were out we saw a lot of the other charter companies and concluded that Nisos boats were much better maintained (not stuck with a day with a jammed anchor chain) and that the ABC was a much better option than the full flotilla social options which I am sure are great if you want to dance the conga each evening! When we do it again we will definitely go with Nisos - and in the busy season definitely do ABC for all the harbour support. Many thanks to everyone at Nisos for a fabulous experience.

Our third year with Nisos and the best trip yet. Some trials and tribulations along the way because of the Covid pandemic but Rowan, Laurie, Kate and the rest of the Nisos 'family' couldn't have been more helpful in helping us through the twists and turns of changing travel arrangements etc. In our experience Nisos are way ahead of the competition in all departments in the sailing holiday charter sector and their Assisted Boat Charter (ABC) is ideally suited for those, like us, who enjoy some company and help with finding moorings and parking the boat but don't want the 'compulsory fun' that comes with most conventional flotillas. Once you've given these folk a try, you'll keep coming back like we've done.

We have just had a fabulous week sailing on Hestia, Nisos’s new Bavaria 46. This boat is a little different to most of their fleet in that she has a fully battened slab reefing mainsail, rather than the more normal in mast furling and also a full-length keel, rather than a shorter shoal draft keel. The fully battened mainsail is 10 sqm larger than it’s in mast furling version and has great shape and real power, which we found very useful in the lighter winds which can prevail in the mornings in this area. On a beat, the keel gives real bite and in 15 knots of wind on a full rig we were achieving 6-7 knots with course made good of 35-45 degrees, a great performance for a cruising yacht. 16 to 17 knots on a beat and it was time for the first reef in the mainsail, which still kept great shape. She happily sailed full rig on a beam reach from Fiscardo to Sivota in 16-20 knots of wind regularly reaching 10 knots, in fact we tacked back when we arrived to enjoy another hour of sailing. Hoisting and dropping the main is simpler than may be expected, so long as we followed one basic rule…Keep the boat head to wind throughout the process…Dropping the nose off the wind by 20 to 30 degrees started to tighten up the mast track “cars” and so increased the friction, but once we worked this out, hoisting, lowering and reefing were a piece of cake. One great tip is to have a crew member “sweat” the main halyard at the bottom of the mast whilst another crew pulls in round the cockpit winch, leaving only the top 2-3 feet to finally winch using the winch handle. This proved a very quick and efficient way to get the mainsail up. What else did we like? The large bathing platform, an idyllic Ionian afternoon swim and sunbathing area, also remote control so that we could close the boat transom when leaving her on a quay. The Bavaria twin rudder system, gives a highly responsive helm even in stronger winds. The cockpit, a sizable work area when sailing and a fantastic al-fresco dining area. The superbly equipped galley. The Rocna anchor as specified on all Nisos Boats and with 100m of chain, wow these anchors bite!! The huge cabins all with standing headroom (yes even the aft cabins) and masses of ventilation. The high level of specification which is also a trademark of Nisos with Garmin chart plotter, autopilot, wind instruments, fenders and mooring/longlines as you would specify for your own boat and a high quality Hypalon dinghy and outboard in pristine condition. The main engine was clean, quiet and happily pushed her along, giving 6 knots at a very relaxed 1750 rpm (but it was far more fun to sail). Oh, and we set out to write a boat review, but let’s not forget the Nisos staff (UK and Greece). Nothing was too much trouble, all our arrangements (which were somewhat complicated earlier in the week) had been pre-arranged faultlessly (many thanks to Rowan and Kate). The boat was turned out immaculately (many thanks to Laurie and his friendly and helpful shore team) and we were even supplied with phone numbers for friendly taverna owners who would reserve us a mooring space. So, if you’re a keen sailor and fancy a bit of the Ionian high life, with a large dollop of top class service and a boat that you will delight you for your stay, look no further… Did we have any complaints…Yes, the heavens opened as we were returning the boat to base…Now there’s a challenge for you Nisos, we know you are good… Happy sailing. We are just back from the most wonderful week sailing around the South Ionian with Nisos for our Honeymoon. The whole Nisos Team were fantastic, from the ease and reassurance of booking from Rowan in the UK, to the warm welcome back from Kate and Laurie when we arrived in Nidri, to a bottle of fizz and 'just married' flag on the yacht, and lots of friendly help and advice for the rest of the team. We chartered 32ft Bavaria 'Maybe', and she was just perfect for the two of us, in addition to some paddle boards which were great fun. Despite the strict COVID restrictions and additional requirements (temperature checking every day and wearing facemasks) we had a truly memorable break and will look forward to chartering with Nisos again as soon as possible! Thanks again to all! With Love, Helena & Adam Harris
