★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nissos brewery. This was the highlight of visiting Tinos. We were given a tour, shown the fig tree which thrives on spilled beer, and given our first taste of Nissos. Since I left Greece, I have been craving Nissos. There is no taste like it. It's the island of Greece in a bottle. It is the sunshine distilled into liquid. It is the comfort of the sea, the happiness of friends, and the love of the Cyclades made tangible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great visit to Nissos Brewery tonight (as part of a birthday celebration ? ???). Impressive success story and rightfully proud of their efforts to build one of Greece's first microbreweriea. Informative tour / discussion and great opportunity to learn about the process behind each of their distinct labels. We did the beer tour / tasting + local Tinos food products - fantastic all around ?!
