★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stringed instrument acquisition syndrome (a serious problem for bank accounts), and found myself in Nostos Music shop on my recent vacation trying to justify spending 500+ euro on a beautiful handmade Bouzouki (which would have been very worth it). But the space in my backpack and the reasonable voice of my better half convinced me that a more smaller sized and priced Baglamas would satiate my need to strum an instrument while watching the sun set from our hotel. After speaking with the very kind owner and trying many out, I ended up purchasing one. He brought out all of the Baglamas in my price range to play and see which one I liked best. Back at home, I now have a fully functional, well intonated , beautiful souvenir! If you are a musician, stop by, you will enjoy it.

Now I visit every year I love looking around at everything. they are always adding beautiful items so its pays to go even if you don't know what you are looking for you might find it I have bought jewelry handmade knives pottery and more all very nice quality plus they have a nice view see you in june

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible chess sets. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. You tend to see the same items at every shop, except here. These are unique to the location. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for unique items hand made in Greece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this little shop in Fira, Santorini. REALLY nice people. It's been here for years. Used to just sell music and music related items but because that world has changed they also sell some jewelry and the MOST amazing Cycladic Chess boards. Marble base - bronze Cycladic figurines. TRUST me we go to Greece every year and they are the ONLY ones who have these kind of pieces. My son wanted one so badly and I said 'ok if you get straight A's this year you can get it next summer' and...lo and behold he got the grades AND the chess set! It's heavy but they will ship it for you. They have a nice selection of Greek Music on CD as well. Again...super nice people. UPDATE 2021!!! THEY ARE STILL HERE! yay! Bought some lovely rings and necklace for my teen son and I got a nice gold chain for my evil eye to replace a broken chain. The owner is the SAME and still lovely! He remembered us after several years. Charming shop with LOTS of things in a small space!
