I never experienced something bad as this before... ....We went as a group of 4 to enjoy a great evening but everything went wrong. We tried to order a rocket salad with parmesan cheese, a grilled chicken, feta saganaki, grilled pork souvlaki and many other dishes BUT except for the salad (I will write about that disgusting salad in a minute) they had nothing to offer. Any dish I would have liked was not available. In fact, 80% of the menu items were not available!!!!! I was astonished but not in a positive way. Besides the fact that they did not have it, there was no mean of apology or regret or similar, just: We don't have these items (supposed to be one of the leading restaurants on the island of Samothraki) Now to the "rocket" salad with "parmesan cheese": The salad was extremely old, mush and tainted with black and brown spots which they tried to cover with balsamic oil. The cheese was some goat cheese shaved into parmesan like pieces and was nothing like a parmesan cheese. When I confronted them with the old salad, they took it with again no apology or regret, just looked at me like he is hating me for returning this rotten salad. The bread..... again.... never had anything comparably bad anywhere, heavy, dense, tasteless and quite inedible. I was positively impressed by the tasty Tsatsiki but come on, we are in Greece, thats what I just expect. Overall I seriously have never been to a worse place (the view is nice though and thats the only fact earning a star) If the owner and their attitude change, I could eventually consider coming again as the view is really stunning. Take this feedback as a serious wakeup call and stop disliking tourists which are your main source of income!

Another must visit place! The meat, cheese, vegetables, drinks and especially tsipouro was just stunning! We was having pork and lamb and I was split between pork and lamb! So delicate and flavorful.....never eat meat like that before! Desert was traditional jogurt with home made jam. Unique! Cheese was goat from the near farm! I don’t have a words to say! Just one, come and try! Thanks guys!!!

As always(i m here for the forth time)perfect.

We were passing through with bikes and decided to stop for lunch - we were the luckiest people alive! They offered the most delicious plate of roasted goat I’ve ever eaten. The service was on spot and the tavern was decorated with pictures and old fashioned items which was very nice! I really recommend visiting this place if you are on the island!

Amazing food!! We had the grilled goat kilo and the pot of melted cheese with tomatoes and jalapeños would recommend going - however if you make a wrong turn, don’t carry on. Turn back and go the easiest route as the long way round is a horrible rocky and dodgy road on a car or scooter. Felt like a near death experience

Nice atmosphere with the tables placed under large trees. The owner is very kind. They have traditional roasted goat and many other meat plates. A quiet place on a village high up in the mountain.
