★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you go to Plakias you absolutely must stop in this place of delights: the bread baked every day by the owner, the cookies with sesame and cloves and cinnamon, the cakes with apples or goat cheese and cinnamon, the cakes (the incredible cakes orange and peach !!!) are incredibly good, delicious. Coffee is the best you can taste between Chanià, Rethymon, Elounda ... Buy the cookies, they are unique. Fair prices.
