Food quality really low for a Greek restaurant. average service. Great location. Would not recommend that place.

Even though the prices are a bit high and the portions quite small, it is totaly worth it! Clean, fresh, tasty dishes and a divine view of the sea with the city of thessaloniki in the background.

Great seafood Good hospitality

First of all :The food was really good and deserves min. 4 Stars ! However being in the Service Sector doesn't just mean to deliver a good food it means also to deliver a good service!! People go out to have a nice evening with the beloved ones and enjoy the service, the location and of course also the food! These nice moments are the ones which we remember as an enjoyable moment! So why do I give one Star ? I went to this restaurant because many friends recommended it to me. As we arrived the owner (I guess) came us to and brought us a menu in english..even though he doesn't speak English at all we were able communicate really good and on a friendly way. Later during the night another waitress came to us who spoke perfectly english and could talk with us really easy! Somehow we got something wrong delivered - remember the owner who wrote our order couldn't talk english! We asked for the English speaking waitress... She was really unfriendly and told us that we got what we ordered and she was obviously really angry which kind of destroyed the whole moment... even than she didn' t listen to us and left us by saying "sorry I can't understand you" pretending she doesn't understand English - even though she was speaking with us before perfectly!!! How rude is that? She came once again to our table (without we asked her)with a menu in her hands, she read the menue and was mumbling silently but still visible, stayed next to us for a moment and left again! Later while we paid, magically she was able to speak again english! It can happen that an order may come wrong or that there was a misunderstanding due the lack of communication but the customer can't be treated like that! My friends and family who was with me that evening tried to the best out of it but fo me such behaviour its unacceptable !! I don't pay for being treated like that. Maybe I will visit this place again once to.see whether it's a common behave but for I won't recommend it to others..I don't want that others has to go through the same situation like we did. There are plenty other good fish restaurants out there!

Popular seafood and fish restaurant, well known locally for the standard level of quality for many years. The place cannot be called trendy or posh and it isn't the place for quiet conversation. Instead, it is a simple down-to-earth place, focused on providing well cooked food for its clients. Saturday nights and Sundays the place is packed with families, so come early! I am not sure if they accept reservations.

If you want to taste fresh fish, you have to visit "ο Γιάννης"

Yiannis is a must, whenever I visit Thessaloniki and Perea. The dishes are all excellent, simple tastes, simply presented, excellently cooked. Service is amazing, swift and friendly whatever the weather. Recommended hands down, for a wonderful meal by the sea. But don't forget the mosquito repellent.
