The Church of Hagia Theodora was also a great part of the trip. Walking downstream a bit was also really relaxing after all the food we ate.

Neromilos itself offers great traditional and homemade food, some of which is baked in the wood fired oven. The premises are in a lovely location in the forest and by the fresh water stream. Even fresh drinking water pouring out of the stone basins. There is an experiential learning component where one can see the water mill as well as the old flour mill in action, and one can actually purchase high quality flour there, incl the traditional and highly nutritional zeas flour of Greece. In addition souvenirs pertaining to Agia Theodora are sold. Well priced all round.

The prices are also reasonable. And the location is so beautiful, like in a fairy tale! I strongly recommend it!

Huge menu including bbq’d and roasted meats of all kinds. Also veggies. Typical Greek prices. Definitely check out the working water powered flower mill.

The surrounding grounds and taverna gave me the feeling of walking through some mythical elvish town. The food - some of the freshest and tastiest I've had! Truly delicious in spite of being local fare. I'm having trouble describing the experience as a whole, but seem to have landed somewhere between magical and surreal. You'll feel a calming, healing vibe minutes after arrival. Worth the road trip!
