★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best meal we have had on our European trip. The staff is beyond hospitable and the food is amazing! This is a third generation owned restaurant, and the love is evident in everything they do. It is off the beaten path and absolutely worth the trip if you are even remotely close. We will be back for another meal before we leave Athens. This was more than dinner, it was an authentic experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live very nearby and have been to all the places in the area and neighbouring areas plus City Centre. Fair to say I might never have spotted this place otherwise, hidden in houses and not even lit up that well.
However as a traditional, indeed old since 1954, taverna there is no better. Everything is acceptable and better, highlights are the best lamb chops in Athens and Nemea bulk wine not that easy to find- without doubt Greece's best.
Not even on tripadvisor, a hidden gem

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I fell in love with this "koutouki" from my first visit. I always make the effort to visit whenever I am on Athens. Amazing BBQ lamb. The house red is also really good.
Great atmosphere......so nostalgic.
