★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old time classic Greek suvlaki at Aegaleo city. Next to the shopping centre of the city, and at a lively area which many cafe bars are existing. Nice choice for a quick bite, take away is available, as well as a small number of tables for the customers, on a pedestrian road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One thing must be said straight away about this place: you need to visit it to understand it. If you love Greek Street food, then this must go on your to do list ASAP, if you are in Athens.
One of the oldest souvlatzidika in the area, they serve a very limited list of items, at very low prices, and very small sizes, compared to the others. Regardless, once you taste it, you realise that the size is exactly right. Meat quality is exquisite, balance of fries, vegetables, tzatziki and meat is to the point and everything comes together in this delightful wrap.
Do visit Christos for a taste of real, timeless, Athenian Street food and you won't regret it.
