★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εξαιρετικό το άγαλμα του Οδυσσέα στο λιμάνι!Μην κάνετε μόνο το λάθος να πάτε να το θαυμάσετε όσο υπάρχουν σκάφη από τα κρουαζιερόπλοια στην προκυμαία.Απαγορεύεται αυστηρά η είσοδος στον χώρο του γλυπτού!
"Ευχήν Οδυσσεί" μας είπαν,αλλά μάλλον προσευχή στο κεφάλαιο διακρίνω εγώ.
The statue of Odysseus in the port is exceptional! Do not make the mistake of just going to admire it as long as there are boats from the cruise ships on the waterfront. It is strictly forbidden to enter the sculpture area!
We were told "Wish Odysseus", but I can see a prayer in the chapter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το άγαλμα τοποθετήθηκε στο "ΜΠΑΣΤΟΥΝΙ" της προκυμαίας της κεντρικής πλατείας στο Βαθύ. Η σύνθεση του αγάλματος απεικονίζει τον Οδυσσέα σε δυο μορφές. Στη μια όρθιο, νέο, αγέρωχο, να ατενίζει τη θάλασσα που τον πλάνεψε και τον μάγεψε!!! Στην άλλη μορφή, είναι σκυφτός, κατάκοπος, με το κουπί του σκάφους του στα χέρια, δαμάζοντας τα κύματα, με μοναδικό του σκοπό την επιστροφή στην γλυκιά πατρίδα του την Ιθάκη!!! Η Ιθακίσια γλύπτρια κ.Κορίνα Κασσιανού φιλοτέχνησε το συγκεκριμένο άγαλμα και όλους τους Θιακούς μας έκανε να νιώθουμε περήφανοι!!!
The statue was placed in the "BASSUNI" on the waterfront of the central square in Vathy. The composition of the statue depicts Odysseus in two forms. In one erect, new, proud, gaze at the sea that thrilled him and chewed him! In the other form, he is crumpled, with the paddle of his boat in his arms, crumbling the waves, with the sole purpose of returning to his sweet homeland of Ithaca !!! Ithaca's sculptor Korina Kassianou made this statue and all Thiakos made us feel proud!
