★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Θλιβερό το τηλεφωνικό κέντρο. Το πρωί είχε μετρημένη αναμονή 45 λεπτά! Τελικά το έκλεισα. Προσπάθησα μέσω της φόρμας αλλά...δεν υπήρχε φόρμα (error 404 έγραφε κι ας το προσπάθησα με όλους τους browser). Ξαναπροσπαθώ στις 11...νεκρά όλα τα νούμερα επικοινωνίας. Ε, ας βάλουν κι εκεί ένα πενταψήφιο να τελειώνουμε, όπως αυτό που έχει το Ασκληπειό Βούλας στο οποίο περίμενα...5 δευτερόλεπτα μέχρι να με εξυπηρετήσουν. Προτιμούμε να πληρώσουμε 60 λεπτά που είναι η χρέωση παρά αυτή η ταλαιπωρία...
 The call center is sad. In the morning there was a measured wait of 45 minutes! I finally closed it. I tried through the form but ... there was no form (error 404 was written even though I tried it with all browsers). I try again at 11 ... dead all the contact numbers. Well, let them put a five-digit number there to finish, like the one the Asclepieion of Voula has, in which I waited ... 5 seconds until they serve me. We prefer to pay 60 minutes which is the charge despite this inconvenience ...

Η ανέγερση του ειδικού αυτού κτιρίου για την περίθαλψη των πασχόντων από οφθαλμικά νοσήματα εγκρίθηκε επί Όθωνος και Αμαλίας τον Αύγουστο του 1843.
Η τελετή θεμελίωσης του κτιρίου του Οφθαλμιατρείου έγινε την 21η Απριλίου 1847 και τα επίσημα εγκαίνια την 14η Ιουνίου 1854.
Ως ειδικό Οφθαλμολογικό Νοσοκομείο είναι από τα πρωτοπόρα (στον κόσμο της Οφθαλμολογίας) στην Ελλάδα και όχι μόνο.
She is the work of Christian Hansen, Gerasimos Metaxas and Aristidis Balanou and an architectural jewel for the city of Athens.
The construction of this special building for the care of patients with ophthalmic diseases approved for Otto and Amalia in August 1843.
The foundation ceremony of the building of Ofthalmiatreiou held on April 21, 1847 and the official opening on June 14, 1854.
As a specialist Eye Hospital is one of the leading (the world of Ophthalmology) in Greece and beyond.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first plan of architect Hans Christian Hansen described on neoclassical building. The construction was stopped on 1850 and after a few years a new architect, Lysandros Kaftanzoglou undertook the completion of the project. He redesigned the whole plan and made a Byzantine order beautiful building that houses an eye hospital.
