★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είδαμε την σχολική παράσταση των παιδιών μας. Για αυτό τον σκοπό είναι καλό. Κρίμα πάντως ένα από τα όμορφα κτίρια των Σερρών να ρημάζει.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ενα αρχιτεκτονικό κόσμημα ιστορικής μνήμης αποτελεί το κτίριο του παλιού Ορφέα που χτίστηκε από τον ομώνυμο Όμιλο το 1905 και φιλοξένησε στην αίθουσά του την νεότερη ιστορική (καθοριστική θεωρείται η συμβολή του στον Μακεδονικό Αγώνα) και πολιτιστική ζωή της πολής των Σερρών.
Από τον Οκτώβριο του 1984 στεγάζεται το Δημοτικό Περιφερειακό Θέατρο Σερρών μετά τη διάλυση του Κρατικού Θεάτρου Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας που με έδρα τις Σέρρες λειτουργούσε από το 1979.
Σήμερα αποτελεί κύτταρο της πολιτιστικής και κοινωνικής ζωής του τόπου.
An architectural jewel of historical memory is the building of the old Orpheus, built by the homonymous Group in 1905 and housed in its chamber the most recent historical (its contribution to the Macedonian struggle) and cultural life of the city of Serres.
Since October 1984 the Municipal Regional Theater of Serres has been housed after the dissolution of the State Theater of Eastern Macedonia which has been based in Serres since 1979.
Today it is a cell of the cultural and social life of the place.
