Amazing value on the real Greek handmade products. Another great find is their leather backpacks, absolutely the second best buy in their shop. If you are in Athens, you should really check this shop out.

We were warmly welcomed in this shop which might come unnoticed among so many other shops loaded with souvenirs made in China. The owner’s kindness made my purchase even easier and I don’t regret. Excellent quality for a good price. We ´ll go back tomorrow : my daughter has found her next handbag !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a hidden gem! Both Christos and Olgianna are very friendly and helpful! They could also customise the colour to your liking. I would recommend that you allow one day for them to make the sandals for you.
Each pair of sandals cost around 50€ and it definitely is worth the money. The leather is very smooth and it seems to be durable.
They also have nice bags and belts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately I didn’t get the pleasure to meet Olgianna herself, but I did get to meet Cristos, and let me tell you he is a gem! He was super patient while I decided on a pair of sandals to purchase, and even showed me an additional pair just to make sure I knew all of my options! Ultimately I decided on the Rhea sandals, and I am so pleased with my decision. He explained and showed me the tightening process, both gluing and nailing them into place after fitting them perfectly to my feet. AMAZING quality sandals at a very reasonable price compared to other shops in Athens. SO SO pleased. Highly recommend visiting this shop! The perfect souvenir if you want something personalized and custom for you. Both the experience and quality live up to the Melissinos name, highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best sandals ever. Olgianna and her husband are amazing. I get a new pair in a different style or color every time I visit. Make sure you visit early on in your trip so they can custom make the size and color you want. They were even able to ship it to us!

My 2 daughters and I all received wonderful service, they made sure our sandles fitted exactly to our feet and Oligianna herself made a pair that was ready a couple days later that my oldest had her heart set on but wasn't in her size. I'm so glad we went here to buy amazing mementos of our Greek holiday. Prices very very reasonable, and the shoes are so worth it!

Olgianna and her husband take so much pride in making the perfect pair of sandals and from fit, comfort, appearance, and quality, no detail is spared by Olgianna. We visited her store on a Sunday and we were leaving Tuesday noon and they were able to finish making 2 custom sandals from scratch in time! Plus her brother actually passed that weekend but they were still able to create these sandals for us which just makes them priceless and extra special. Seriously a must visit in athens! ❤️❤️❤️
