★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Inhaber ist ein sehr netter Typ. Da ich selber viel mit Holz arbeite haben wir uns ein wenig unterhalten. Er bietet solide Handwerkskunst an und bei ihm glaube ich auch das er alles selber macht. Es ist aber neben Brettchen in allen Größenund üblichen Salatbesteck, etc. wenig "Besonderes" dabei. Und für meinen Geschmack etwas zu teuer für einen kleinen Laden der letzten Endes doch gut ausserhalb der üblichen Touriwege liegt. Ähnliches kriegt man auch woanders in chania, Rethymnon, etc.zu ähnlichen Preisen. Obwohl ich diesen Besuch nicht missen möchte, muss man als normaler Tourist diesen Weg nicht unbedingt machen.Schneidbretterund Mörser gibts woanders wie gesagt auch. Zu ähnlichen Preisen.
 The owner is a very nice guy. Since I work a lot with wood myself, we talked a little. He offers solid craftsmanship and I believe he does everything himself. But besides boards in all sizes and the usual salad servers, etc. there is little "special" included. And for my taste a little too expensive for a small shop that is ultimately well outside the usual tourist routes. You can get something similar elsewhere in Chania, Rethymnon, etc. at similar prices. Although I don't want to miss this visit, as a normal tourist you don't necessarily have to take this route. Chopping boards and mortars are also available elsewhere, as I said. At similar prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditionelles Handwerk. Ein kleines Geschäft in dem ein Mann aus Holz Unikate schafft. Vom Würfel über Servietten Ringe bis hin zu brettern und Lampen,kaum etwas fehlte. Auf Wunsch konnten Anpassungen direkt und vor Ort vorgenommen werden... Ein netter Mann, mit dem Charme Kretas. Ein Stopp allemal wert!
Traditional craft. A small shop in which a man creates unique items out of wood. From cubes to napkin rings to boards and lamps, hardly anything was missing. If desired, adjustments could be made directly and on site ... A nice man, with the charm of Crete. Well worth a stop!

Beautiful selection of olive wood products! Since the workshop is right next to it, special requests are implemented directly by the friendly owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience, really is a great place to visit walking in to a pile of shavings as a piece is being made a rare thing these days. The owner is really knowledgeable and there's far more that goes into making an olive wood bowl than you'd think.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really cool shop with an impressive amount and diversity of objects, all exclusively carved in olive wood: boards in lovely organic shapes, bowls in all sizes, serving forks and spoons, boxes, etc. The artisan, always present and carving new objects in the shop, is nice and very welcoming. A great option to bring home souvenirs that are beautiful, meaningful and useful!
