Disheartening to see this potential gem for the area to be functioning like a dump. Visited a couple of times in late July '18 for running within the premises. Abandoned facilities and close-to-stale waters. Both times I was attacked by the same bunch of stray dogs, which are fed by the "security guards" (the dogs were pretty responsive to their commands). Avoid!

Maybe the wrong day we visited this Olympic leftover. No less than 4 people in the gatehouse welcome you as the highlight of the visit as rest of this stadium seem to be completely abandoned and just waiting for the next 2-3000 year's to go in order to join the fine Greec collection of old monuments. Only visit this site if you have memories from the 2004 OL everybody else will be better of going to the Schinias beach - being worth recommending a visit to.

..the most outrageous story to Greece..organise Olympic Games in a country marginal econominally with a cost never published..anyhow..this center for rowing is a place deserted while 3 miles away from this Center is the ancient Fort of Ramnous where Professor and Academician Basil Petrakos explored and exhibited this Akropolis of Ramnous and it's temples etc this very place is still in marginal situation on exhibiting all this great civilization of the World for a party that they call it Olympic Games ..what has to do with the ancient Olympic Games where the winner was awarded a small branch of olive tree the tree of Piece?how annoying to see those Olympic Buildings that served for one week and people applauding for Values nothing to do with the ancient Values of Brootherhood and Piece...

We loved the tranquility of the place. Last year it was closed to public due to COVID-19, but this year we hope we will be able to go again. The place is ideal for running and cycling.

Sad ? place. A beautiful canoe racing lake built specially for the Olympic Games. Probably never used since. Left to decay. Could have been transformed into a beautiful recreational park. A waste of resources and money.

The last alive & hiden nature paradise in Attica even left to its own luck of all these years of abandonment.. Rowing coaches & young athlets with their positive aura & smiling faces are fullfilling this unique place with hope...Keep on ...

These guys are struggling to recover this wetland. The place is beautiful and the facilities are not too bad for that many years with out use and proper care. The potential is amazing, and definitely is worth to go and visit to enjoy fresh air, nice views and nature.

Amazing place, has many potential to be a tourist attraction, but unfortunately left abounded, most of the buildings there are going to be ruined. The area is very nice.
