Orkos Beach Hotel - Main Street

Firstly this hotel is extremely isolated. The bus service in September are very few and taxi to the town is 35 euro each way,. The beach that's close by is extremely windy. The sand would cut your skin, so its not a beach to relax on. It's a beach for kite surfing and that's about it. The hotel was pleasent, but it seemed to be run by kids, there was no professional management figure to be seen, and it lacked the typical Greek hospitality. The electricity went several times during our week, which seems to be the normal thing there due to the high winds, and the sewerage system is very bad, there is a strong smell constantly coming from drains outside and inside the rooms. The breakfast is basic and a few mornings the eggs which were fried were stone cold. We commented on these issues and staff were just young kids with no real aspect of service recovery, my husband got really sick with the flu while staying here and in the mornings there was no hot water to shower which made him feel worse. It wouldn't be were I would return to stay again in Naxos. Although the rooms are very clean and well kept. It was a disappointing stay.

A friendly intimate hotel, with excellent service and clean, fresh and Greek typical exterior and interior design. The rooms are in great shape, showers and bathrooms are clean. Reception is manned from morning till evening. Pool is well tended. Beach is cross the small sand road and small restaurants with quality food is next door. The place is all the pictures want it to be. Go there!

We had a wonderful time in the Orkos Beach hotel. It's a very beautiful place (I love the decoration : very zen peaceful) with very kind service (speaks also french ?). I totally recommend it, especially when you see the sea directly from your bed. Massages are awesome. Close to the kitesurfing spot ???!!!

Excellent stay ! Lovely and confortable hôtel, next to à lot of commodities and a wonderful restaurant ! Really Nice staff, good breakfast and nice room for an affordable pricing. I recommend the expérience especially for kitesurf enthusiasts

They are not professional. They afraid to deal with customers complains. The room was not that operational. There was not any drawer to keep your clothes. The bathroom was small. The first day we arrive the bed sheets were unleaded. The cleaning lady was transfer the clean bed sheets inside a black plastic bag which it normally used for garbage!!! Every morning we had to wake up with the first daylight as the room has transparent curtains! The distance from the town was almost half an hour with 12 min driving in a soil road. The cost for a triple room was about 150euro/ night in July. Not value for money.

The hotel is amazing! Nice breakfast, close to the beach, and the staff is so so nice! I would highly recommend this place for some days in Naxos (rent a car). We got an upgrade to a duplex which got our stay even better.

What a wonderful hotel. It might listed as 2-star but it is very nice. We had a two floor suite for 4 of us. A king bed on each floor. Upstairs had a refrigerator but otherwise both rooms were similar. They have a wonderful refreshing pool but the sea is right across the road. They have a great continental breakfast available from 8-11. My only comment would be timing activities in town to take advantage of the breakfast first if you can. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great, it had great facilities and lovely breakfast. Really clean, with a surprisingly large room. Staff were really friendly and helpful, receptionists had great insights about the island. Good sized pool, a tad cold. Hotel was a little isolated. Amazing for kitesurfing, location wasn't ideal for relaxing by the sea, very windy. Mikri Vigla was an amazing beach within walking distance. Though only a couple of restaurants and no bars (open in the evening) in the area. Great local cat population, they were very friendly, especially the black one and the tabby one. Overall very pleasant stay.
