★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you time the ferry departure properly it takes approximately the same time to travel across the sea as to travel all the way around on a automobile through Chalkis with ±10 minutes adjustment depending on traffic conditions.

There used to be two vessels in those days, lately I've seen omly one operating, did not ask, perhaps being an off season time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry to eretria is accurate on timetable and fast. Trip lasts 30 minutes everything is really clean the food and drink prices inside are very reasonable. You are saving time and traffic from this option. I paid 10 euros for 2 adults 2 kids 1 and 3 plus my car. Have a nice summer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great experience! You drive to Oropo, get on the ferry, get to Eretria-across in 20 minutes, drive to Chalkida and have a great fish lunch. Back in Athens after 45minutes!!
