Η υψηλότερη κορυφή του είναι το Καϊμάκι (Καϊμακτσαλάν) και σε αυτήν βρίσκεται το εκκλησάκι του προφήτη Ηλία, μνημείο αφιερωμένο στους Σέρβους πεσόντες του Ά παγκόσμιου πολέμου. Κατά την Ελληνική μυθολογία, στο Βόρα κατοικούσε ο Βορέας ( προσωποποίηση του βόρειου ανέμου). Στις χιονισμένες πλαγιές κάτω από τη κορυφή λειτουργεί το ομώνυμο Χιονοδρομικό κέντρο.
