Αν περιμένετε ότι θα βρείτε το παραδοσιακό ταβερνάκι που πιθανών θυμόσαστε στο Κερατσίνι της δεκαετίας του 80 μάλλον θα απογοητευτείτε. Πράγματι η τοποθεσία είναι μαγευτική με το φουγάρο της ΔΕΗ να δεσπόζει. Όμως η ουζερί του Γιώργου έχει απλά αποδεκτούς ψαρομεζέδες, μάλλον κουρασμένο προσωπικό, και τιμές που ταιριάζουν περισσότερο στη Γλυφάδα. Πάντως είναι καθαρό και συνολικά τίμιο γι αυτό που προσφέρει. Όμως του λείπει η μαγεία (όπως όμως λείπει συνολικά από την περιοχή). George ouzo is a special case that needs a thorough analysis. If you expect to find the traditional tavern that you probably remember in Keratsini of the 80's you will probably be disappointed. Indeed, the location is enchanting with the PPC chimney dominating. But George ouzo has simply acceptable fish appetizers, rather tired staff, and prices that are more suitable in Glyfada. However, it is clean and totally honest for what it offers. But it lacks magic (as it lacks the area as a whole).

Το service όμως είναι αρκετά αργό - αργήσαμε πολύ να παραγγείλουμε , κάποιοι δίπλα μας σηκώθηκαν και φύγαν κιόλας γιατί περιμέναν πολύ ώρα να παραγγείλουν. Επίσης, τα πιάτα ερχόντουσαν ανά 20 λεπτά το καθένα. Παρ’ολά αυτά, είναι μια επιλογή που σίγουρα αξίζει τα λεφτά της - το φαγητό είναι φθηνό και νόστιμο. Γενικώς, μια αξιόλογη επιλογή αλλά έχει και τα αρνητικά της. The food is honest - barley is a pretty nice dish - I recommend it. But the service is quite slow - we were too late to order, some people next to us got up and left because they waited a long time to order. Also, the dishes came every 20 minutes each. Nevertheless, it is a choice that is definitely worth the money - the food is cheap and delicious. Overall, a worthwhile choice but it also has its downsides.
A	Antigone Maronikolaki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Έχω μείνει άφωνη. Πήγαμε με τόση όρεξη και μείναμε με την όρεξη. Εξυπηρέτηση πολύ καλή όπως πάντα. Υπήρχε ροή και ευγένεια όπως πάντα. Όμως η γεύση στα πιάτα δεν ήταν όπως παλιά. Γαύρος τηγανιτός καθόλου τραγανός αλλά πανιασμένος. Το ίδιο και το θράψαλο. Το τηγάνι θέλει υπομονή. Όμως αυτός που τα τηγάνισε έδειξε ότι μάλλον ήταν ανυπόμονος ή βαριόταν. Όλα τα πιάτα αυτό έδειχναν. Βιασύνη ή βαρεμάρα. Η σάλτσα στο σαγανάκι γαρίδας νερουλή. Οι γαρίδες ακαθάριστες. Τα αχνιστά , πικάντικα μύδια χωρίς εντάσεις. Όλα τα πιάτα με εμφανή έλλειψη αλατιού παρ'όλο που δεν τρώω αλμύρα. Το μελωμένο χταπόδι σχεδόν άβραστο. Απογοήτευση. Ένα ουζερί που κάθε φορά ήταν εγγύηση γεύσης και ποιότητας.Μάλλον πετύχαμε μια πολύ κακή μέρα στην γεύση. Μία παρατήρηση. Όταν χρεώνεται το νερό καλό θα είναι να ρωτάτε αν ο πελάτης το θέλει. Ευχαριστούμε. I am speechless. We went with so much appetite and stayed with the appetite. Very good service as always. There was flow and courtesy as always. But the taste in the dishes was not like before. Anchovies fried not at all crispy but crunchy. The same with the thrapsalo. The pan requires patience. But the one who fried them showed that he was probably impatient or bored. All the dishes showed that. Haste or boredom. The sauce in the shrimp frying water. The shrimp are raw. The steamy, spicy mussels without tension. All dishes with an obvious lack of salt even though I do not eat salty. The honey octopus is almost uncooked. Disappointment. An ouzo that every time was a guarantee of taste and quality. We probably had a very bad day in taste. An observation. When charging for water it is a good idea to ask if the customer wants it.
