Είναι αρκετά μεγάλο για να βγάλει κανείς το σκύλο βόλτα ( ή τον εαυτό του) και ταυτόχρονα τα παιδιά να παίζουν στο δικό τους χώρο. Το έδαφος (εκτός παιδικής χαράς) έχει μια μικρή κλίση αλλά είναι κατάλληλο για άνετη βόλτα ακόμα και για παιδιά 4-5 ετών. Το άλσος έχει πολλά μικρά και μεγάλα πεύκα με ευχάριστη πράσινη βλάστηση ως συνοδευτικό. Περιβάλλεται από ήπιας κυκλοφορίας δρόμους και μέρος της περίφραξης του Αρσακείου που προσθέτει αισθητικά. Ακριβώς απέναντι από το σημείο της παιδικής χαράς βρίσκεται το άλσος Ψυχικού, το οποίο δίνει βάθος στην "πράσινη" προοπτική και αξίζει να επισκεφθείτε.
