★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not to be missed - this is a superb bookstore with amazing treasures! Many first editions, hard to find titles, much literature in translation. Also an incredible collection of prints and maps. The owners are extremely helpful and charming. Erato is a delightful place and my favorite used bookstore in Athens, indeed anywhere. It preserves the joy of browsing through treasures with the gift of finding an unexpected gem that you'd never thought to search for on its own. You won't regret spending time there. Also every helpful for over the phone orders and prompt service.
