Palamidiou continues as Rodopis if you head West, and leads to the cemetery of Analipseos. This part of Palamidiou is more commercial consisted mostly of cafés and bakeries.
It's also called Palamidiou like the first stop of the street...so in order to separate them, this one doesn't have a cover, when the other one has.
