★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thomas gave a fantastic tour. He walked us around the olive trees and taught us about how they cultivate and harvest them, and just how complex and important the trees are to the culture. We tasted other fruits and vegetables straight off the trees, and then were shown where they process the olives to make olive oil. It ended with a tasting of various olive oils, which were delicious. My whole family enjoyed it and we all learned a lot about olive oil that we will take with us. The best olive oil I've had is from Crete and now I know why...they care about their oil because it's the same thing they give their family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing surprise ! Didn’t have any expectations and we were impressed by how welcoming our host Thomas was and how passionate he was with sharing stories. We’ve learned a great deal on Cretan culture and how olive trees are acquired, cared for and part of each family story, with some great anecdotes along the way! We visited both the field and the facilities where we’ve learned about the process and what makes an excellent extra virgin olive oil! Great ending to the experience with a testing to better understand comparison between types of olive oil! Highly recommend a stop at Pallada if you want a real taste of the Cretan culture!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great tour and tasting! Rafael was so great and super knowledgeable. Took time to answer our questions and was really engaging. Learned about the harvesting and production process, and then had a nice tasting. Loved learning about the different steps involved in a tasting from him too. Highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were welcomed by Raphael and we were the only 2 people in the tour. He brought us to the olive trees and explained very interesting things. Then we came back to the production warehouse and got an explanation about the processing. Later we tasted different olive oils and had a salad with our favorite one. Great informative tour and great to support local businesses too.
