★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στην είσοδο του χωριού δεσπόζει η εκκλησία «Η Παναγιά η Τριποδιώτισσα», παλιό μοναστήρι που χρονολογείται από το 16ο αιώνα μ.Χ. Πανύψηλα δένδρα και στοές σκεπάζουν το μεγάλο προαύλιό της, χαρίζοντας δροσιά στους προσκυνητές της. Πρόκειται για τον ενοριακό ναό του χωριού που γιορτάζει στα Νιάμερα της Παναγίας (23 Αυγούστου) και στο πανηγύρι της συγκεντρώνει πολύ κόσμο απ' όλο το νησί και όχι μόνο.
Παλιότερα ήταν ένα από τα πιο εύρωστα μοναστήρια του νησιού και αποτελούσε «Μετόχιον της Κυρίας Μητροπόλεως». Στη συνέχεια η Μονή αγοράστηκε από τους Τριποδιώτες και έτσι περιήλθε στην ενορία των Τριπόδων.
Σήμερα το μοναστήρι της Τριποδιώτισσας δεν λειτουργεί πια. Η ολόασπρη όμως εκκλησία με τις ωραίες εικόνες και τις παλιές χρονολογημένες επιγραφές εξακολουθεί πάντα να υψώνεται στον βορεινό ορίζοντα του χωριού, θυμίζοντας δόξες παλιές.
 At the entrance of the village stands the church "Panagia Tripodiotissa", an old monastery dating from the 16th century AD. Tall trees and galleries cover its large courtyard, giving dew to its pilgrims. It is the parish church of the village that celebrates in the Niamara of Virgin Mary (August 23) and at its feast brings together many people from all over the island and beyond.
It used to be one of the strongest monasteries on the island and was a "Metropolitan of the Lady Metropolis". Then the monastery was purchased by the Tripodians and thus fell into the parish of the Tripods.
Today the monastery of Tripodiotissa no longer operates. But the all-black church with its beautiful pictures and old dated inscriptions still rises on the northern horizon of the village, reminiscent of old glories.
