Located in the middle of the forest. Blue signposts lead to this abandoned place .. opposite an old ruined house.

It is a historic monument dating back to the early 18th century. Characteristic is the bell of the Virgin Mary on which it is written in Latin characters and letters or chronology 1735. It takes Divine operation only once a year, at the feast of the church, 2 July, which is really a journey in time as the Church does not have electricity and the stage prevails within is truly unprecedented. It is worth a visit to this monument

Amazing place, truly mysterious, it travels you back in time. The single-nave church, with doorframes and window frames with keystones is dedicated to the of Panaghia of Vlacherna and celebrates on July 2. It was built in the first half of the 18th century amidst olive groves, next to the medieval tower of Dandolo. The Dandolo Tower is the most interesting defensive structure of the Renaissance in Corfu. There were many such country manors in Crete but this is the only one documented for the island of Corfu. The overgrown but still impressive Dandolo Tower was once the stronghold of a prominent noble Venetian family. The elderly Doge Enrico Dandolo had been instrumental in the Fourth Crusade of 1202, which he craftly sidetracked to accelerate the end of Byzantium. The three-floor fortified manor has windows only on the upper two floors. Only the vertical walls are standing, thicker on the ground floor and sloping. from the top of the tower, the shore of Acharavi would have been visible.
