La sera del 14 agosto si svolge la festa popolare e devozionale proprio sull'isoletta. La gente la raggiunge con le barche per ammirare i fuochi d'artificio sparati dalle colline soprastanti l'abitato di Parga. Così romantica da essere diventata classica destinazione. Molti gli stranieri che lo fanno. Possono sposarsi anche "alla greca" secondo le tradizioni della cultura ellenica il cibo locale e la musica che di solito raggiunge il suo apice nel sirtaki.
