Αρνητικό το ότι αν και ο χώρος είναι τεράστιος υπάρχουν λιγες κούνιες για τα παιδακια. Beautiful park with swings for children. Inside the trees with a beautiful fountain. Ιωνία που θα έπρεπε να έχει και την ανάλογη φροντίδα και συντήρηση από τις δημοτικές αρχές. A very nice neoclassical building with a park and a playground around. A jewel for N. Βρίσκεται μέσα στην πευκόφυτη πλατεία Παναιτωλίου στο κέντρο της Αλσούπολης Νέας Ιωνίας. Ανεγέρθηκε το 1930 από την εταιρεία «ΚΑΛΟΓΡΕΖΑ Α.Β.Ε.», η οποία είχε αγοράσει γη και τη διαφήμιζε, για να την πουλήσει ως «Αλσούπολη». Πρωτολειτούργησε ως ξενοδοχείο με το όνομα «ΤΑ ΠΕΥΚΑ». Στον πόλεμο ήταν αρχηγείο των Γερμανών και καταστράφηκε από βομβαρδισμό. Μετά τον πόλεμο, το αγόρασε ο γιατρός Νικολακόπουλος που το ονόμασε «Παναιτώλιο» προς τιμήν του χωριού της καταγωγής του. Το 1988 απαλλοτριώθηκε από το Δήμο με χρηματοδότηση του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού. Αργότερα, αναπαλαιώθηκε, εκσυγχρονίσθηκε ως χώρος και χρησιμοποιείται ως Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο καλύπτοντας συναφείς δραστηριότητες του Δήμου. Εγκαινιάσθηκε το 1997, με την ευκαιρία της Αδελφοποίησης του Δήμου με την Martina Franca της Ιταλίας. Σήμερα, ο κήπος του έχει διαμορφωθεί σε παιδική χαρά και πάρκο των κατοίκων. Panaitolio is a historical monument with a peculiar architecture. It is located in the pine-covered Panaitolio square in the center of Alsoupoli Nea Ionia. It was built in 1930 by the company "KALOGREZA SA", which had bought land and advertised it, to sell it as "Alsoupoli". It first operated as a hotel with the name "TA PEFKA". During the war it was the headquarters of the Germans and was destroyed by bombing. After the war, it was bought by Dr. Nikolakopoulos who named it "Panaitolio" in honor of the village of his origin. In 1988 it was expropriated by the Municipality with funding from the Ministry of Culture. Later, it was restored, modernized as a space and used as a Cultural Center covering related activities of the Municipality. It was inaugurated in 1997, on the occasion of the Twinning of the Municipality with Martina Franca of Italy. Today, his garden has been transformed into a playground and a park for the residents.
