And for those who are complaining that it's purely "touristic", well, never visit the Eiffel tower neighborhood with all the illegal immigrants who are selling you so-called French souvenirs from China or shops where sellers are as sympathic as a jail keeper. I know, I live there (in Paris)

If you walk from Omonia into the market and then out on the other side, you will get to Plaka right under the Acropolis. Make sure to check those too ;)
