Super cute hotel and very clean

The location of those suites is the best in koufonisi. Next to the best beaches (fanos, italida etc) and also walking distance from the village. The suites are brand new and very luxurious while they are made according to the traditional cycladic architecture with up to date materials and facilities.

Nice hotel in a fine location along with pleasant staff. Minor issues where a tricky drainage in bathroom which made it flooding quite often and the lack of reception. The latter was in the tavern area which was full of people every time during the day. Otherwise walking distance to nice beaches and cozy atmosphere.

Amazing and spotless suites! Attention to every detail in interior design,the whole place is made with love and dedication. Wonderful, helpful hosts, always available to help. Disinfectant gel available in the room, local welcome drinks and wine with a fully equipped kitchenette. Spacious with a lovely view. The breakfast was also wonderful with a variety of choices and coffees. Optimal location close to Italida beach and the centre/chora of the island. The place is tuned in with the energy of the island, every corner is unique! I didn't want to leave! Can't wait to go back !

One of the best places you can book for your holidays in Koufonisia. Great location, all the beaches are in walking distance including the island center. The staff is extremely helpful and wiling to accomodate you as best as possible (Christos and Eve ). Ask them for great info about the whereabouts of the island and what or what not to do . The rooms are spotless with great view and sophisticated design that compliments the general architecrure of the island. Would book again ! Thanks for a great stay!

“Now we understand why people may return to the same place for vacation” That’s what we found ourselves saying as we left Pangaia Suites. Short review: Beautiful property, amazing breakfast, hard working staff to make sure you have an amazing stay. Great location, for us but keep in mind it’s ~20 minute walk to the city. You’re directly on the first of many beaches away from the city beach. At the beginning of our trip, we departed the ferry and after a few short minutes we found the old Mercedes Vario, approaching us. The bus, a faded rock star, living its life in retirement in Koufonisia surely has some stories. Polly, the resident dog, as well as the staff greeted us and we were on our way. Do not let the bus fool you, you are on your way to a very special location in Koufonisia. We arrived at the boutique hotel, greeted by the owner and staff where they took our bags and offered fresh juice. We had arrived in our paradise location. We stayed in the elite suite with jacuzzi at the beginning of June, a bit off season. The room was beautiful, decorated in unique artifacts with an amazing view from the balcony as well as the room. It’s a very quiet place to relax, I would not recommend party goers or anyone not looking for a calm stay. We often slept with the windows fully open letting the cool breeze from the sea sweep into the room. Each night it was very peaceful with hardly any interruptions from other residents. We did use the jacuzzi a few times, it helped with sore muscles after a long days walk. However, most of our water time was in the sea at the beach. The breakfast is at the hotel restaurant, which is a stark contrast from the posh, boutique property. Which we loved! We felt we were in the secret locals spot, being served amazing breakfast directly over the water. An experience we had never had before. Don’t miss out on the Strapatsada, Greek tomato and feta eggs with oregano, we found ourselves ordering seconds often. Dinos(?), the very kind and hard working waiter will most likely greet you and ask what kind of coffee you’d like. Your table will then shortly be filled with a flurry of plates: fresh fruits, two kinds of eggs, Greek yogurt, local feta, something sweet, the list goes on and every day may be slightly different. This is not your typical continental breakfast. It’s something more, with a homemade feel. Embrace it, come early, and grab your spot at the waters edge. The location was perfect for us, a 20 min walk from the city but directly on the first of many beaches away from the city. Our first few days we were greeted with sparsely filled beeches. As the days went on they got busier, but there are a few options directly in the area. Less busy, and more room than the beach near the city. If you prefer, a more relaxed lounging area where you can be served cocktails and food as you lay at the beach, it’s simply right around the corner. The staff is hard working and dedicated to making your stay fantastic. We could not have asked for a better time. A few things important to note: The walk to the city is around 20 minutes. We didn’t mind and preferred it. We found the narrow road with many pedestrians and cats too busy as it was. We were happy they don’t provide a bus constantly going back and forth, the island is small enough. The shower sometimes started luke warm, I didn’t mind so I would shower first and my wife would jump in once it was warm enough. (You are on a small island after all) Some prefer to have breakfast in the room. I highly recommend having breakfast at the restaurant and embracing its local feeling with amazing views. The jacuzzi (we had) is not heated, just to note. We again didn’t mind, the island is hot enough. Brings LOTS of sunscreen. Drink LOTS of water. Leave some food for the cats on your walk back from the city. They will appreciate it.
