I have had many boats tours in my live – in Australia, Cambodia, Thailand and the Caribean Sea. All were very good, but this one was just not worth the time and any Euro that we have spent. We (Group of 8) have booked the boat trip via the German travel agency FTI (45 EUR p.p). We wanted to do a one day boat trip around the fingers of Khalkidhiki in a small boat, not to many tourists, what we got was the opposite of our wish. The daily tour starts from the harbor in Pefkochori (Kassandra) and went on to the second finger of Khalkidhiki for a beach, then to the city of Marmaras and at the end to the Turtle Island. When we arrived there were two similar medium sized boats in the harbor, which got both very crowded within a few minutes. Both boats loaded around 150-200 people on their deck - even though there weren’t as many seats available. Since there were so many people on board it was uncomfortable right from the beginning. The expectation of a nice day on the Mediterranean Sea got in a far distance immediately. After around 60-90 Minutes we arrived at the beach of a town on the second finger of Khalkidhiki. The beach was very ordinary – and from the moment the two boats arrived this boring beach got packed with people. We had one hour for relaxing (with 300-400 other travlers) at the beach and then we had to be back on board for lunch (was included). The lunch was a spoon of Szaziki, a spoon of rice and a small piece of meatball. It was just the smallest and worst lunch one can imagine. After lunch the boat took of to the city of Marmaras. A nice city, but nothing really special to see, when you only get 60 Minutes for the visit in the heat of the Greek afternoon. Most guests just went to a cafΓ© or restaurant to get refreshments and waited there. After the boat left Marmaras the boat stopped for 15 minutes at the Turtle Island for swimming. Since there were more than 150 people on each boat it took a long time so everyone hat the chance to jump into the water. I just got inside the water and was called to get out again just after 2 minutes. After every one got back on the boat the tour was finished and the boats headed back to the harbor of Pefkochori. The tour took around 7,5 hours and was manly on the boat. Since it was so crowded, it was no fun at all. The captain of our boat for example was very unfriendly and kept on shouting on guests (even with greek swearwords) when they leaned against something – but since there were no comfortable seats for everyone, it was just not possible to stay and stand relaxed. Staff: 1 of 5 Points Tour itself: 1 of 5 Points Boats: 3 of 5 Points Relaxation: 1 of 5 Points Price – 2 of 5 Points Guests on the boat: some Greek, Germans, Russians and English The trip could be alright for half the price, with better lunch, not more than 50 people on the boat and relaxing areas on the boat (places to lie down). With the current offer it is just a waste of time. You better stay at our beach or hotel – if you are in a group – rent a car and visit the places by yourself, it’s more enjoyable. When you look up their facebook website you only see positive feeds from 2013 and 2014 – made by semselfs… looks like critical feeds is not what they want.

This cruise was a total disappointment. The boat was very crowded, the food was a joke - 4 pieces of weird meet, some boiled rise, some tzatziki sauce and one piece of bread. We had 3 stops, all very short: first one at a beach, 1 hour, but with so many people getting on and off the boat takes about half that time, so we didn't really have time to do anything. Next stop was in Neo Marmaras, a small city, same story as before. And last stop was near a small island, where we could jump in the water 3 or 4 times, then back on the boat and we went home. All in all it was really just like a bus ride, but on a boat, with another 70-80 people.

A goood tour for the price. Large groups will have more fun, but for couples it's not that interesting. You get to swim on a couple of places and sunbathe on a beach for 2 hours, but none of the places are especially interesting or beautiful. Seagulls travelling beside the ship is the better attraction. Staff are nice and friendly.

Good one-day cruise on a beautiful ship, with very friendly staff. The Captain Mr. Pantelis is a spring of knowledge. A very warm & kind person, just like the rest of the crew which was very helpful! In terms of improvements I did not like people smoking on the main deck and the white bread sandwich given, was not very healthy. See you again!
