The best place to stay in Papigo!!

I do not recommend it as a local guide and resident of Papigo.

What an amazing place! Clean, comfortable and very cozy. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone. It's suitable for families, group of friends or couples.

I found Papigo Stone House purely by chance through my friends George and Katerina who own Koukounari Café. I mentioned to them that I was looking to rent a house. They told me to check the cottage up the lane. I have been coming to Papigo for over a decade, and had never seen this hidden gem. They told me to contact Golfo and Tassos, the owners. I saw the cottage from outside and fell in love with it. By the time I called Golfo, George had already told her about me. She went out of her way to show it to me immediately, as guests were due to check in that very afternoon. I knew when I walked in the door that I wanted to spend my year there. Golfo herself, and Tassos are not just truly super hosts, they are wonderful human beings. Their cottage is the perfect base for several days or longer. Regardless of the season it is fully prepared and has everything you could ask for or think of. From sun loungers, to firewood and snow shovels, this gorgeous little home is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, and being someone who loves cooking, this is important for me. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms fabulous, and the whole place was pristinely clean. All the cafes and tavernas are a short walk away, and the hiking routes and activities are also on your doorstep. Any help I have ever needed is just a phone call away. I recommend this charming, picturesque, and cosy cottage to anyone, single people, couples, and small families. It will be your base for the holiday of a lifetime.
